1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using The Wise Bunker (hereinafter "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any of them, you must not use the Platform. Continued use after modifications are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service description

The Wise Bunker is an academic productivity platform offering the following features:

• Smart library: storage, organization and analysis of academic documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX) with AI-powered metadata extraction.
• Paraphraser: text rewriting in 4 modes (Academic, Fluent, Formal, Creative) with length and variation controls.
• Citation generator: creation of bibliographic references in 5 styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE) manually, from text or from URL/DOI.
• PDF Chat: document conversation via AI with responses cited by page number.
• Notebooks: text editor with AI assistance (paraphrasing, simplification, expansion, summarization and autocomplete).

3. Registration and user account

• To use the Platform you must create an account providing truthful and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
• Each user may only have one active account.

4. Subscription plans and payments

The Platform offers three subscription plans:

• Free ($0/month): 5 files, 10 paraphrases/month, 10 citations/month, 2 chat sessions, 3 notebooks, files up to 10 MB.
• Basic ($9.99/month): 50 files, 100 paraphrases/month, 100 citations/month, 20 chat sessions, 20 notebooks, files up to 50 MB.
• Premium ($19.99/month): unlimited use of all features, files up to 100 MB.

You can change plans at any time. Changes take effect immediately. When you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of the billed period. Prices may be modified with 30 days prior notice.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Platform, you agree to:

• Not use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights without authorization.
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts, systems or data.
• Not attempt to circumvent your subscription plan limits through technical means.
• Not use the Platform to generate harmful, defamatory, discriminatory content or content that promotes violence.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Platform.
• Not use bots, scrapers or automated mechanisms to access the service.
• Not present AI-generated content as your own without proper attribution in academic contexts, in accordance with your institution's policies.

6. Intellectual property

• Your content: you retain all rights to documents, texts and files you upload to the Platform. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• AI-generated content: paraphrased texts, metadata, citations and chat responses generated by the Platform are provided for your personal and academic use. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and complying with your institution's academic integrity regulations.
• The Platform: all software, design, branding, logos and elements of The Wise Bunker are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. AI-generated content — Disclaimer

Results generated by artificial intelligence features (paraphrasing, metadata, chat, citations, autocomplete) are provided "as is" as assistance tools.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or originality of AI-generated content.
• Generated citations must be verified before inclusion in academic works.
• You are solely responsible for the use you make of generated content.
• The Platform does not replace professional academic judgment, critical thinking or peer review.

8. Service availability

We strive to keep the Platform continuously available. However:

• We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or force majeure.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable prior notice.
• We shall not be liable for losses arising from temporary service unavailability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for your subscription in the last 12 months.
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Cancellation and termination

• You may cancel your account at any time from the Platform settings.
• Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, without prejudice to other legal actions available to us.

11. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from the use of the Platform will preferably be resolved amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, the parties shall submit to the competent courts and tribunals according to applicable law.

12. Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable law. If any provision is declared null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Substantial changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance through a notice on the Platform or by email. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect implies your acceptance.
